Just got a Dell Studio 1535 laptop from my sister.  It has HDMI out, so I figured I'd set up a MAME server on it, and use it on my 64" plasma.

I'd been looking for a simple frontend, and decided on mgalaxy.  I DLed and installed everything as said on the tutorial.  Mame 0143, etc. etc.

It seems the ROMS when I filter only ROMS available, and when I press one it says "Start game" and then does nothing.  None of the games will launch.

What am I missing exactly?

I'm not sure to understand: does it happen only when you choose to filters your roms on "available roms only"?

Double check that:
- mGalaxy is in the same folder than mame itself
- Your roms are in the same folder too, in a folder called 'roms'
- Your roms are up to date with your mame version (if using mame v143 your romset has to be updated to that version too)
