where are the Mame favorites in version 10.1

OK i'll Bite.....I created a couple favorites to see where the .ini file is stored and i cant find it

'Favorites' (as well as 'Tagged') info have been moved to the system database file (xmlout.xml).

So if I want to add Mame favorites from a previous version of Mgalaxy I cant ?? I have to add them all in again ??

If you are upgrading from an older version, simply reinstall the new version in the same folder...and when you start it up for the first time, an update will be performed! (As a precaution, first test it on a copy of the folder from the older version!)

If you no longer have the “old version” mGalaxy folder but have kept the favorites file, then yes, you will need to edit the database to add them manually.

This is made easier by editing the database (DB Edit tab) in mGalaxy_Runway. You can select games one by one (or make a multiple selection, just like in the Windows interface, using the Ctrl key as you add games).
Once you have made your selection, go to the DB Edit tab, then the Process sub-tab, and in the Set Favorite drop-down menu, select On.

If you are really having trouble:

• send me your ‘Favorites’ file
• give me the version number of mGalaxy you are coming from
• give me the version number of Mame you are targeting

...and I will try to take care of it!

Okay Thank you I got that working.

Now i'm having trouble paying my $45 for the premium upgrade. I dont put my personal credit cards online so I buy Joker Mastercards which have never given me a problem anywhere before but it seems not to work with you and you dont have Paypal which rules that out. Can you take an etransfer ?? Thats my only other option..
