First Time Installer - Help please

During my install it did appear that it was taking a very very very long time but then I noticed the DirectX install window in the background behind some other windows. Basically the install program looked like it was working when instead it was waiting for me to continue the DirectX install process. See if that may be what you are experiencing.

Hu, nope it s not normal, It don't scan your computer, perhaps looking for your directX viersion ?

I'm trying to install this for the first time.  Why does the install program seem to be looking at every single file on my computer?  It has been minutes and it still hasn't even created the folder to install into.  It's going through a million files in my Plex Media Server folder.

Is this safe?  Is this normal?

What is going on here?
