sorry for the late reaction.
I think i have a problem, because i dont have a graphicscard driver installed, and i dont know what gpu i have.
(I looked inside but i couldnt see it and i tried software, but it said a standard graphics adapter.)
I cant find mame.ini either.

2 things.

First, you need to instal directX11 AND directX9.0c, directX9 isn't included in directX11
Secondly, I don't think the problem is from DirectX, try another display mode in mame, use openGL instead of D3D (you can configure it in mame.ini) or directdraw if you are realy unlucky.
check your display driver too.

MAME not working

I have an old computer on which i cant go on the internet.
When i installed mame and mgalaxy (via usb) mgalaxy didnt work(it crashed when i started it)
so i downloaded directX 9 via this link: http://offlineinstallersoft.blogspot.com/2014/04/downlaod-directx-91011112-offline.html

Im not sure if its the right one, but mgalaxy started, but in mame im getting the message: proposed video mode not supported on device
And according to my pc i have directx 11. Should i install directx 9, and if yes how?
