Are you sure, you haven't 2 versions of executable ? one with the vlp file and other not ?
I have try with many method and if it work in stand alone mode, it work too with mGalaxy.

New to Mgalaxy, was able to get Mame and Stella (2600) to work. Using VirtualNES roms are listed, when selecting a given one the following comes up "Language plug-in not found." Not sure how to fix. I do have an "English.vlp" file available in my virtualnes.097 folder. Also, can get Virtual NES work as a stand alone emulator. Any help would be appreciated.
