mGalaxy crashes upon exiting MAME

I know I wrote earlier that this worked for me, but actually it does not. I just misinterpreted something.

So the issue is still occuring.

It is when I press "Esc" to exit a MAME game that the screen, the frontend, the emulator, everything freezes .

I created a folder containing mGalaxy v9.0 and the latest version of MAME v0251.
mGalaxy_Runway is configured, one just have to launch mGalaxy itself.
MAME launches correctly, is correctly exited by "ESC" and then mGalaxy takes the focus correctly!
Can you test this archive?

I don't think mGalaxy freezes. I had this discussion with mGalaxy himself: mGalaxy is simply in a waiting state while the launched process is still running.
In clear, mGalaxy starts a process (MAME) and then waits for it to be terminated in some way!
I'm really confident that the problem comes from MAME not really shutting down...since you don't have this problem with other emulators!
However, I will try to help you this weekend!

The frontend freezes everytime I exit MAME. It runs okay with other emulators.

I tried many things to find the source of the issue.

Fx:
Using other versions of mGalaxy
Using other versions of MAME and even MAMEUI
Using other drives
Resetting PC
Reinstalling Windows
Using different GPU


I did receive assistance from you in another thread found here: https://www.mgalaxy.com/forum/index.php?topic=2090.0
But the solution (script file you send me) did not work.
