They are the Japanese files. They have the sg file extension. Could this be my issue?

However when I try to load a game through mGalaxy...I just get a black screen
Would like to help but unfortunately I can't reproduce your problem. SG-1000 games loading nicely here (mGalaxy v7.6, Windows 10)...so the problem is not coming from the command line sent by mGalaxy

Also all I am getting from the interface is the game name. Not getting any screens, or animations.
Here the rule is simple:
Based on your rom file name, mGalaxy will try to launch media file named the same way! (for pacman.zip, mGalaxy would look for a pacman.png for bitmap, pacman.mp4 for video)
So, here are all the reasons that would prevent mGalaxy to display media:
- the folder path to media is not specified or invalid
- the media filename doesn't math the rom filename
- the file extension is not correct (.png or .mp4 allowed)

First off hope all are well with the Corona virus thing. And getting through the quarantine
Second just tried to get Sega Sg-1000 working through the interface
I am using Kega fusion, and it works well   when I use the emulator as a standalone.
However when I try to load a game through mGalaxy...I just get a black screen
Also all I am getting from the interface is the game name. Not getting any screens, or animations.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
