Can you see in the "C:\Users\"Your User Name"\AppData\Roaming\mGalaxy" folder that a new 'Preferences.xml' file was created?
Is that file empty?

I deleted the Preferences.xml file and when starting up mGalaxy it seems to hang with an animated "Now Loading" in the bottom right corner. I let it sit for a few hours before force closing the app.

I looked around in the folder but couldn't find any relevant logs. I also tried updating and saving the database in runway but the symptom remains the same.

If your "Controller panel" key binding is still available (default key is 'c'), simply call it, then with your mouse either click on 'Default Settings' button to reset everything...or 'Launch game/ (Interface) Select' button to map this command only to a new key.

If you don't have access anymore to that panel, go to "C:\Users\"Your User Name"\AppData\Roaming\mGalaxy" folder, then delete the 'Preferences.xml' file.
On mGalaxy start, the controller panel will auto-open and you will be able to do the same as advised upper!

In the process of upgrading to 7.1, I somehow unbound the Launch Game/Menu Confirm keybinding. I am now unable to 'confirm' any menu item, so I can't reset to default keybinds or remap to a new key. How can I reset to default keybindings?
