Hi,

firstly great program, have tried just about every front end and wanted simple for mame and mame only, with joystick control no keyboard, and love this, how did i miss it before.

i am having trouble with some roms, eg galaga, it is there, but it wont start, but shows in the list even though i have selected working roms only.


is there a trick to it ?

Hrm, my copy of Galaga works fine in MG.

I'd suggest making sure your version of MAME supports Galaga (most do, obviously), and then head to the Downloads Page (http://mgalaxy.com/download.html) and make sure you have the correct Mame Database file that corresponds with your version of MAME.

Outside of that, I'm at a loss, unless your particular copy of that ROM is corrupted or something.
