I have just make a try with a graphical filter.
If you modify game.ini (custom configuration) you can specify special option by game. In my case I have activated the filter only on 1 game.

Ini file by game are in mame/ini and they are only created if you use one. By defaut this folder is empty. All is automatic, easier than making an script. Some emulators are really good.

Framerate in Mame
« Reply #1 on: September 07, 2013, 08:23:04 PM »
Hi there guys,
Just wondering if anyone can help me here,  I have a couple of Mame games which do run, however the framerate needs to be changed to get it to work smoothly.

You can simply run the game normally using: Mame romname -frameskip # (where romname is the name of the rom and # is the number).

My question is, does anyone know if it's possible without an autoit script to make just this one game run at this rate all the time.

Someone has mentioned in other forums about changing the games ini file, however none of my games have an ini file, is there a file for mGalaxy that might be able to be manually edited to change the framerate for individual games?
