Title: Nvidia shield input issue
Post by: Stokely on July 13, 2020, 01:40:49 PM
Hey all. Is anyone else trying to stream mGalaxy to Nvidia Shield using gamestream?  I got it running and it looks great, but mGalaxy isn't recognizing input from dual shock 4. I try to map controller and I get nothing. Anyone else experience this?

Don't you have to install DS4Windows?

Could you try this:
In Steam Big Picture mode under Settings -> Controller
(or in the main Steam interface in the menu Steam -> Settings -> Controller -> General Controller Settings)
Disable PS4, Xbox, and Generic Gamepad Configuration Support to prevent Steam from creating emulated XInput devices for these devices.

Thanks for the suggestions. Turns out it was a simple issue. I unplugged an extra Xbox controller I had on the computer and restarted mGalaxy. Works perfect. I guess my DS through gamestream was registering as a second player controller or something.
