I did found the info in the other post, but I didn't manage to get it working

Only Windows 10 knows why now it's working

I found a way to get it working !!!!

At least...

I downloaded an utility called Win7DSFilterTweaker, and it allowed me to be able to see finally the videos in WMP and mGalaxy

Hi !

I have installed these LAV filters, but the videos still don't show up in Windows Media Player...

I really don't get it, perhaps it has something to do with Windows 10 and it's Media Player ?

Could someone explain to me how he managed to get it working ?

I must say that the videos of course are playing fine in MPC.

For users experiencing video playback problems with Windows Media Player (and thus mGalaxy)  but being able to play it with MPC-HC (Media Player Classic Home Cinema), I would advice them to install the LAV filters! These are the same DirectShow filters that are used by MPC-HC!

Yep I just checked everything is working as it should.  I can now start working on a complete database for final burn alpha and finish up the rest of my systems.

They played with windows media player also.  I spent this whole morning trying to troubleshoot the problem and found a solution apparently Mgalaxy didn't like the newest display driver I was using for the ATI video card on my laptop.  It was weird because the videos played as soon as I uninstalled the drivers with the generic windows video driver.  As soon as I noticed this I concluded it was a display driver issue and installed an older version of my display driver.  It is now working as before the thing I don't get is it was working with the new display driver before.

I'm not sure that this is a good argument! Those  players are known and used because they DO embed nearly every codec!

Does your videos play with your Windows Media Player?

Just do a search for preview, video and emumovies.   There are like four people reporting this issue.  I mean everything was working great until I added hundreds of videos.  The videos play on vlc and mpc-hc perfectly so its not a codec issue.   I also tried to reinstall mgalaxy and it still does not display videos.

A lot of people!? Which posts do you refer to?
I've read posts with people not able to play video because they didn't have Windows Media Player installed on their computer...but missed posts with people having it suddenly not showing anymore.

I completed adding videos of gameplay preview to my emulated systems and then suddenly the videos don't show up anymore.  I looked through the forum and it seems there alot of people having this same issue.  Has anyone figured how to fix this problem?
