Haggar,

This error is due to the fact that you're using "Mame32 Plus" when mGalaxy's waiting for "Windows Command line version of Mame" (www.mame.net).
Ranaming "mamep.exe" to "mame.exe" in your "Mame32 Plus" folder should do the trick.

Hello again,

Before the tests with "Joy To Key", i decide to test with the keyboard itself. I've push "1" to start the game and this error window appears:

I'm using Mame32 Plus! 0.111, mGalaxy v1.0, Mame database 0.111, Windows XP SP2.
My system spec:
Athlon XP 2800
1024mb DDR 400
Asus A7N8X Deluxe
80 gb HDD Seagate Barracuda
ATI Radeon 9600XT 256mb

PS: Sorry again for my bad english  :-[

Thanks for the help! ;D

I will test the "Joy To Key" program to emulate the keyboard keys in the joypad.

Haggar,
Thanks for your kind feedback ;)

mGalaxy is driven by "keyboard encoders" like the "IPac" and "KeyWiz" (which are the most common interface used in a cabinet).
Actually, those "keyboard encoders" send keys to the computer.

You will find a complete chart on the help page (http://www.mgalaxy.com/help.html)

The orange/red area shows the action in mGalaxy, while the grey area shows the corresponding key that one should press to trigger this action.

Example:
- To launch the game : Press "1" (on the main keyboard, not the numeric keypad)
- To browse to the next letter : Press the "Tab" key

So, if you can program your Joystick to send keyboard shortcut (?) you should program it accordingly to this chart.

PS: it's not possible to configure the key mapping for now...but if you miss this feature don't hesitate to post in the wishlist!

Hello,
I have some questions to ask:

1 - I put the files in Mame folder and i run the Frontend, but the joystick doesn't work. I have a Playstaion joystick plugged on LPTC.
2 - On the keyboard i don't know what's the key that open the roms.
3 - How to configure the frontend (key mapping)?

Sorry for my very bad english, i'm from Brazil.

PS: Congratulations for this incredible project!
