How to create a mg_mamedb.xml for last mame version ?

Use the new version mame 0.145 and mGalaxy 2.1 and the problem disappears

Please be patient a couple of days more...a new mGalaxy version is to be released in the next days!
You won't have this problem anymore...and there is more:
1) the "Preference" and "Search" windows are now interactive, that means that every change made in those windows will refresh your game list in real time!
2) No need anymore for an external database file.
 mGalaxy creates it directly from any new mame version.
3) You now can hide categories of games from the main list (i.e: bios, electromechanical, quiz, ...)

but i have the same problem with version 0.143 that i have before with version 0.138
the "Quick search rom with an onscreen keyboard" don't work , the main reason I use mgalaxy  is because that function  very easy to find a game over the thousands of games

with mg_mamedb.xml version 0.128   works ok

Anyone  has an idea to resolve this problem ?
Several time I have reported this bug, since version 0.132, but the problem persists.

The v0.143 files have been added to the download page!

I'm currently working on a new (rewritten) version of mGalaxy
In this release it won't be needed anymore for the user to supply a database.
mGalaxy will generate it automatically according to the mame version residing in the mGalaxy folder.

Anyway, tomorrow I'll try to prepare a .143 database for you. If I'm too slow or forget to do it, don't hesitate to remind me here ;-)
