I have tried some solutions found on this forum for CLR20r3 error but none worked:
- I started Windows with the built in Administrator account and all uac disabled
- I tried the installer for dx9 but it just says it is already installed
- I tried reinstalling windows media center via control panel
- after doing windows update, my windows media player is version 12
Hi,
No need to do all that since you do know that the problem is not coming from mGalaxy itself...but from you trying to add a new system ;-)

1.Could you post the lines you've added to 'systems.xml' file?
2.Have you created a folder with the system name? Is there a icon.png file inside?

mgalaxy works fine when only using the systems in the default list
I tried adding some other systems by editing the systems.xml, it causes mgalaxy to crash while starting
mgalaxy_runway can run OK and even recognize the new system I added, but when I click "create database" it crashes too.
This is the error given by runway:
