arcade controlers cant configure help?

OK just found this post that explains it...

problem was i tried setting snex9 input when,,,,, xpadder running configured for the mgalay front end....
was running....don't work   have to kill xpadder then set emu buttons then start xpadder back up...

but would like to add this...why does mgalaxy not support standard usb-controler?  i mean really!
could you not put this in the next build....

hey guys,,i have standerd joy & buttons running to a usb controler from my cab..

when i open "runway" and try to configure the butons nothing happens!
i have to use xpadder to set it to keyboard key's!   

my joy& buttons all register when i configure them in mame,snes9, and others
so it is working fine....what am i overlooking...Help thanks
