MAME DB Question

Clicking on 'Update Everything' (1) if the chosen system is Multi-system [MAME] will always bring the second window
There, if you choose (3), you will update the database from MAME itself (data)
If you choose (4), you will then update media (getting missing media files) if you set 'Update' in the first window (2)...or replace them if you chose ('Replace')(2)

Hi,
I'm updating my Database for MAME.
I never get asked "Do you want to get data from MAME embedded database?"
It does seem to be  updating but looks like it's pulling everything from an online server even though I already have local art, Covers, Screenshots, Videos etc.
It's pulled almost 12GB of data today and it's not finished yet.
Is there some way to make is use what I already have ?
