Title: System Argument - crash
Post by: adrinan on January 11, 2014, 05:01:14 AM

Hi there,

I recently upgraded my PC to use Mgalaxy (my old one was too slow) but now I can't use runway without it crashing on me.

The error always occurs when I try and create a database - it opens an old school CMD window takes a few seconds and then windows tells me that Mgalaxy has stopped working.

The error gives me the information below.

DirectX 9 missing maybe ?

Also got a problem with my new pc because I was missing DirectX 9 (which is required even if you have DirectX 10 or 11 installed).

IDK, the problem with direct X 9 is a " System.NullReferenceException"or "System.DllNotFoundException"

But you can try http://www.mgalaxy.com/forum/index.php?topic=507.msg1736#msg1736 (http://www.mgalaxy.com/forum/index.php?topic=507.msg1736#msg1736).

Perhaps a right problem, are you in "Admin mode" and with yours files in correct Drive (Never C:/")
At the end of this post you can find a method to make the database with command line.
